Firstly, eye bags can be effectively treated with modern laser medicine. At Laserzentrum Bonn, we use various systems for this. For very mild swelling, cuts are often not necessary. These can be corrected as part of laser skin resurfacing. Using the so-called fractional laser, we specifically stimulate collagen production, blood circulation, and skin regeneration. The tissue becomes overall tighter. This method is also suitable for wrinkle treatment or age spots.
Another option is the use of the laser scalpel to remove excess skin.
For more pronounced eye bags, we may need to remove tissue and fat or lymph deposits. Here, the light scalpel is used, allowing us to perform very precise and fine cuts. Bleeding can be stopped directly during the procedure. This is a minor local procedure with hardly visible scars, which is gentler on the skin and has fewer side effects compared to a conventional eye bag operation. Additionally, skin rejuvenation of the entire eye area or correction of drooping eyelids can be performed.
The laser surgery at Laserzentrum Bonn Aesthetics is performed on an outpatient basis and usually under local anesthesia. The treatment is almost painless!
After the procedure, you should plan to rest for a few days and avoid intense physical activities like sports. It is also important to protect the treated eye area from sun exposure and avoid eye makeup for a few days to weeks.
