In medicine, a scar is an area of fibrous tissue that forms out of active connective tissue cells (fibroblasts) as a wound heals. The process of developing a scar is called scarring.
Scars are caused by burns, accidents or surgery. Conspicuous scars can cause severe psychological distress and even physical harm to affected people. In addition to the aesthetic aspect, scars can also lead to functional deficits, such as contractures near joints.
Do not worry if scars remain red, raised and painful after fresh injuries or after surgery. Please don’t forget that they need time to heal. It takes 12 to 24 months for scars to fully mature. The quality of the scar can often be significantly improved through pressure treatment and scar ointment.
If, after the end of your scar maturation, you are left with an unsatisfactory scar, you can look to various methods of scar correction to improve the look of your scar. Treatment options range from intralesional cortisone injections with subsequent pressure treatment, through scar correction using medical needling or Morpheus 8, to surgical scar correction. We offer an entire palette of both non-operative and surgical scar correction treatments and try to remove as much mental trauma as possible.
It is important to remain realistic regarding expectations, however. Even with the latest techniques in plastic surgery, a scar can never be made completely invisible. Our goal is to make the scars as inconspicuous as possible, so that you can once again feel comfortable in your skin.

The results of the treatment will only become visible after several months. The correction creates new scars that take time to heal and mature. Unfortunately, scars can never be made completely invisible. Our goal is to make them more discreet. You can return to life as normal immediately after the procedure.
